Master of Social Work is 4 semesters (two year) post-graduate program with a generic base. The program is open to graduates of all academic disciplines and is designated to meet the expanding human resource requirements in the field of Welfare and Development. The Program lays a foundation in Social and Behavioral Science and Social Work methods in the first two semesters. Advanced knowledge and exposure to Welfare or Development perspective (as per the chosen stream by the students) is provided in the final year. The course offers professional live in experience in the field through concurrent fieldworks, internships, community living camp and out-reach activities to expand professional experience of social work trainees.
